The rich, tactile fabric gives that beautifully full 1940s shape a little more structure and weight, while those soft velvety ribs bring depth, texture and a wonderfully luxurious feel.

At first glance, this skirt appears rather 'sensible' in nature - a practical length, straight lines in style and easy to walk in due to the front pleats.
However, this is a real head turning skirt that creates an elegant and sassy silhouette. The fitted waist cinches, the slim cut hugs and moulds the hips and the slight flare from the knees creates a hint of a fishtail.
Feels super autumnal in maroon corduroy - pair with our hydrangea georgette separates for a fabulous fall look.
